We have had a very busy term in Blue Room with our topic of Extreme Earth. We have learned about Volcanoes, Tsunamis, Earthquakes, Hurricanes, Tornadoes and floods through a variety of experiments, art activities, discussion and written tasks.
Some of our pupils went to a Boccia Festival at the university in Perth with some pupils from Green Room and had a wonderful time mingling with boys and girls from lots of other schools and had fun playing Boccia too. Some of our P7s even met some of their future teachers and classmates.
We practiced our Life Skills in a multitude of ways this term but our biggest achievement was putting our Maths into practice by going to the shop and staying within a budget and calculating our change. We then took our purchases to the park on a sunny day to enjoy them.
We have also had trips to the Green Bridge over the new road, the Community Café and the Scone Library.
I am looking forward to Term 4 where we can hopefully build on our outdoor excursions even further with better weather!
