Primary 2A

We are a very friendly and enthusiastic class who like to have fun and work hard.

Here are some of the things we wanted to tell you about our learning this term.

In maths, we have been learning about money, time and patterns in addition and subtraction, as well as revising our numbers to 100 for super speedy recall.

In literacy, we have been retelling the story of ‘The Little Red Hen’ and then making a change to it. Next, we will get to choose what to write about. We have also been describing the Rainbow Fish and Superworm in lots of detail. In our non-fiction work, we wrote instructions after we made play-dough models and, even better, milkshakes! For World Book Day, we decorated our day with Superworm (you can see this in the photo)!

In PE, we have been working on our fitness. We like to play games and have been learning lots of new ones with P2B to help us have fun in the playground.

In topic, we have been learning about farming, focusing on the journey of dairy from ‘cow to cup’. Farmer Andy came to visit us with Daisy the cow and we got to practise milking her!
